How Affiliate Links Work
ToolStack participates in affiliate programs with some of the tools we review. When you click certain links (marked with ↗ or noted in-text) and sign up for a paid subscription, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
What This Means for You
- You never pay more because of affiliate links. The price is the same as going directly to the vendor.
- We review tools whether or not they have an affiliate program. Most tools on this site are reviewed without any affiliate relationship.
- G2 scores, review counts, and feature data are pulled from public sources and are never manipulated.
- Tools are ranked by authority rank (market adoption, review volume) and G2 score — not by affiliate commission rate.
Editorial Independence
This site is built and maintained by a working product manager at Microsoft. Tool reviews reflect independent professional assessment based on hands-on experience, user reviews, and publicly available documentation. No vendor has paid for placement, a positive review, or influence over editorial content.

In accordance with FTC guidelines, we disclose affiliate relationships on all pages where affiliate links appear. You will see a disclosure line in the footer of relevant pages.
